Graphic Design 1

For this first assignment I wanted to create a typeface using items that I surround myself with everyday. Some of the items I used were my chair, steering wheel, ceiling, and a steel pole in my basement. Everyday after I comeback from school or work, I always head down to my basement where I then work. I wanted to turn these objects, that I see and use everyday, into something different from what they really are.

ThisisGrey - I really like the way the text is manipulated and the choice of color that the artist uses.  Ryan Gerada - I always enjoying seeing this artists work. The simplicity and the messages are just appealing to me. Bruce Nauman  - Bruce's work is very bright and loud. He uses bright and happy colors to grab your attention, then the words he uses might convey a different feeling.
